QBrick is a tool that enhances the "break" command of autocad.

3 Commands are avaible within QBRICK:

EBRICK:

EBRICK Lets you break an entity at it intersection points with other autocad objects.

You must select the entity then the objects intersecting objects.

  1. Select the objects that will define the intersections.
  2. Select the ellipse

The ellipse in now broken to many parts according the intersection points.

QBRICK:

QBRICK Breaks all the selected entitys at their intersection points.

  • Select objets.

Objets are now broken at their intersection points.

NBRICK:

Please note that This command may not function properly. it will fixed as soon as possible.

NBRICK breaks a curve or a part of a curve given the number of desired intervals, or the interval length.

 

When QBRICK is invoked, you're asked to select an element, or, using keywords, to use the EBRICK or QBRICK command.

Type 'F' to select the first point.

Option RDivide

Original:

Opérations:

  1. Select First point.
  2. Choose 'RD'"
  3. Pick second point.
  4. Type number of intervals (3 in this example).

Result:

Choosen part has been broken to 3 equals parts (same length).

Option Divide

Original:

 Opérations:

  1. Select object.
  2. Choose option "DI"
  3. Type number of intervals (5 in this example).

 Result:

The five elements have same length.

 Option RMeasure 

Original:

 Opérations:

  1. Select object.
  2. Choose option "RM"
  3. Pick second point
  4. Type desired length of the extracted elements (in this example: 100)

  Result:

Except last element, others have length equal to 100.00

 Option Measure 

Original:

 Opérations:

  1. Select object.
  2. Choose option "ME"
  3. Type desired length of the extracted elements (in this example: 150)

   Result:

Except last element, others have length equal to 150.00
